 ------Monday, June 12, 2006Clearly not their favorite....My older boys are not ones to hold back. They let me know I am not good enough. They want daddy. They want to know twenty times a day when dad will be home. This doesn't happen a lot. Usually when he's working long hours for days in a row. Which is what is happening right now. I try to not let it bug me but it stings a little when your child is hurt and all you hear between the sobs is "I want daddy". The other day G was sick, really sick. But he managed to get out "i want daddy" about fifty times. He didn't want me touching him or wiping the throw up off his chin. He says "i can do it, i want daddy". And of course by the time he saw daddy he was all better. Today Wy got a tummy ache. I tried to hold him and comfort him but he wanted down. Told me he wanted daddy to come home so he could cuddle with daddy. *sigh* Long heavy *sighs* I try to think of this as a good thing. My kids obvisiouly have a hands on dad that rocks their world. That isn't a bad thing. Its something I never had, however. But I can't blame them for wanting daddy.. 
------Saturday, June 10, 2006I had two PB shoots this week.......The first one was for a newborn and 4 year old sister. It turned out bad,really bad. The house was so dark. I walked in and thought I was in a cave. I didn't panic thinking we could open the blinds and let the light in. WELL>>>>>>their windows were tinted. It was awul. I depend on natural light when I take photos. So the pictures sucked. I asked for a reshoot and still no word. It's okay though because I was to worry about my camera and not the baby. I asked to hold the baby when I first arrived and I was ignored,blown off. Mom handed baby off to grandma. And baby was awake the whole time so no cute feet pictures and mom wasn't up to any other shots then them facing the camera. UGH! It was not enjoyable and my style did not shine through in these photos. The second shoot was different. I nailed it. The mom was more willing to listen to me and what I wanted. I have 19 pictures proofed and ready to share with her,so far. I think I could end up with close to 30 proofs. I am so excited to share with her. Hopefully they'll be repeat clients. These boys were so much fun. I hope to share after I get the released signed.
------Thursday, June 08, 2006Does blogger suck or what?I am not even going to bother write anything worthy. Blogger is pissin' me off. And I had no idea my blog had olive green on it. I thought it was a biege color *sigh* I do not have olive green in my house.
