My 1st prize goods came *woohoo*


Can you believe it? I knew I won but after awhile I doubted the prize would ever show up. I hate to admit this but I still don't know where I entered. Its through ATI.com but as far as what website my photo was posted on, I haven't a clue. How sad is that? I am sure it was during a late night when I couldn't sleep. The letter says my photo is on display for the world to see. Too bad I can't see it. I have emailed to try to find out but haven't recieved a response.
Mr. Fun thinks I should sell the camera on ebay. I kind of want t keep it for the times I don't want to take my baby ,errr, i mean camera out and about.

Heres the winning photo. I am on cloud nine that one of my personal favorites is a favorite of others. It makes me all warm and gooey inside.

If you haven't noticed.......

I have been in a blog funk. Just not coming up with anything that I think would interest you all.
My sweet G turned six yesterday. We had a fun day with the grandparents. Then today we had birthday cake. Next weekend is his party with a couple friends. Hes very excited that he is getting three birthday celebrations.

He really doesn't like any attention such as this. As we were singing he was plugging his ears.

IT WAS 25 CENTS

Seriously, 25 cents. Would you get your panties in a knot over 25 cents? Me, no I most likey wouldn't notice.
The lady and the cashier had me standing there for 10 minutes before it was settled. I about handed them both a quarter so I could get on with my life.
My quick trip to the store for birthday treats was not so quick thanks to Mrs. Frugal and Ms. Newbie.

Nothing like a little rough housing...

The boys were wrestling last night and Mr. Fun had to get in there. G would run and jump up on Mr. Fun's shoulders. It was insane, he had no fear. Either of them did. Wy was just jumping on Mr. Fun's legs trusting him 100% that he would catch him. Those two are going to be tough little guys. I can't wait for the day that Wy can turn the tables and knock G to the ground. Just to see the look on G's face.
And yes Wy doesn't match and G is wearing his baseball pants but I pick my battles, we weren't going anywhere.

Thirteen Things about Mrs. Fun 1~I do not like animals at all. I don't mind them if they keep to themselves and at the zoo. My children will never have a pet with fur. Poor kids :( 2~I stay up way too late and really need to try to get to bed earlier. 3~I ate my daughters chocolate without asking, does that make me a bad mom? She doesn't miss it. 4~We have a forecast of rain on Saturday. I am hoping we get it. I really want it to rain to help with the dust. 5~I don't understand why people insist on taking their dogs shopping with them. (and i am not talking about the guide dogs,duh) 6~The kids have dentist appiontments today. OI! I am so nervous. G is going to freak like he always does. I feel so bad for their dentsist. Shes so nice about it tho. 7~I am a retail widow :( Mr. Fun worked 18 hours yesterday. So that means I worked 18 hours. And 15 hours the day before. Today I am hoping for a 12 hour day. No, i'm not holding my breathe. 8~I am not happy with JJ's costume for her recital. Not pleased in the least bit. But i still wrote the check to pay for it *rolleyes* 9~I ran over a water gun yesterday and the boys thought it was so cool, silly boys. 10~I don't play the lotto. 11~I didn't take one single picture yesterday.(please pick yourself up off the floor,theres more) 12~I am still struggling with the weaning. T doesn't ask for it during the day anymore. Night is a different story. 13~ I am a VERY light sleeper. Not a good thing when your wonderful hubby gets up so you can get some extra sleep. Why don't you celebrate Valentine's Day? Just curious. I would think this would be a great holiday to share within a family: a celebration of love.

Honestly, we show our love for eachother daily. We are a very affectionate,lovey,hang on eachother kind of family.(i'll pause why'll you puke), go ahead I won't be offended. We try to do nice things for eachother throughout the year. So Valentine's Day is just another day around here. Mr. Fun will bring presents home for me and kids now and again. If I am out shopping I always look for things I think he would like. I don't need a holiday to remind me to tell the one I love just how much they mean to me.

This Hallmark holiday is not celebrated in The Fun House. The kids do cards for school and thats it. I made their cards last night(nothing like waiting till the last minute) with their help. You can see them over at The Fun House. They each got to choose what picture,graphics and colors they wanted. It was a lot of fun. Sure our printer thinks otherwise.
Its a good thing we don't celebrate because Mr. Fun left for work at 9 AM and will not be home untill after 11PM.

Its just a little sand

We ventured out to the park yesterday.It was a beautiful 78 degrees. Couldn't stand to stay indoors. While at the park I met a nice mother of one. We were chatting and discovered our babies were both January babies. Then T decided he wanted to taste some sand. What does a good mommy do? Most likely stop the child, distracts the child,cleans the childs mouth out. Not me (heehee) I grabbed my camera and took pictures of him eating the sand. In my defense I did say "no,no T"
So back to this other mother. She says "you aren't going to stop him?" I replied that a little sand never hurt anyone. She told me there could be bugs in the sand with a mortified look on her face. I told her that at least he would be getting protien.
She picked up her daughter and walked to the other end of the park.

Coffee, grey hair and lost socks

Someone messed with moms coffee, grrr.

They (most likely T) is lucky I had more coffee.

Then Mr. Fun poitely told me that I had a patch of grey hair. Okay he laughed and taunted me about my patch. I didn't believe him so I told him to pull a piece out.

Does that look like A piece? more like 10 pieces.

Lately the boys never have matching socks. Yes, it happens every now and then
we'll have one lonely sock. But recently I have had up to 5 lonely socks.


Now I know why.

Thirteen Things about Mrs. Fun 1~Mr. Fun finally ordered me my personalized plates for the burb. WOOHOO!! Can't wait to get them. 2~I have decided that Wy will be going three days a week next year and i will stand in line to get a morning spot,if needed. 3~T went to sleep last night without nursing. 4~I didn't do the dishes after dinner last night. I sure do regret that. But Mr. Fun wanted to go to Target. I never pass up a shopping trip, ever! 5~It was 87 degrees here and we were out most of the day. I do love living here, now if it wasn't so dusty. We seriously need rain. 6~mmmmm,yum! this coffee hits the spot.I didn't like coffee untill after JJ was born. My mother in law bought me a mocha from Starbucks at the airport. The rest is history. 7~Still struggling with losing weight. Its only 7-10 lbs. But I look in the mirror and its not what I am used to seeing.I don't feel comfy in my own skin right now. 8~I love hiking but haven't yet gone this year. 9~I often wonder what life would be like with only two kids. We were done after two. And once you have three you might as well have four.*wink* 10~I am hoping to get a new dishwasher soon, ours sucks to say the least. A new oven/stove would be nice too. But thats not gong to happen. 11~That laundry from last week is now sitting on my dresser waiting to be put away. My poor kids are running out of clothes. 12~I am currently frustrated with my camera. I am having the worst luck with color. But I am still learning. 13~My next purchase for my camera will be a simple lens hood. Boom Boom Choo Choo Train, watch Mrs. Fun do her thang..

Mrs. Fun~ I can't

Mrs. Fun ~ Because my back is aching, my shoes are too tight and my hips are shaking from my left to my right.

This is a game the huckleberries and I play now and again. They get a kick out of it. We usually go around to each person untill one of the boys start to act too silly. Then its time to call it quits.
Last night as I was walking T in the hallway at 2 am I kept singing this song as my hips were shaking from my left to my right so desperately hoping he would fall asleep. And this brings us back to weaning the boob monster. See, if I would of just nursed him I would of been sleeping. Instead I was up walking the halls singing a silly song. I tried to let him fuss in his bed but he woke Wy and G. So after getting them settled I was left walking the halls. After three hours of what I call "mommy torture" I nursed him. Finally at 3 am I crawled under the covers, snuggled up to Mr. Fun. I barely had time to dream when I hear pitter patter pitter patter coming down the hallway. I hoped they would stop in the living room and sleep on the couch. No such luck. My feet warmer, G had arrived in bed. *sigh*
So this morning coffee is extra strong.

She claims she was scared and running from the paparazzi. What bullshit!!! Does she look scared to you? Why isn't the bodygaurd driving while she straps baby in.
Really, theres NO excuse for this.
I usually don't care what celebs do and stay away from the gossip. However,carseat safety is a passion of mine. My 9 year old is stil in a highback booster. And here she is without seatbelt on, baby in her lap driving.

I won the final prize yesterday!! $70 is all mine. T won $10 after the 3rd quater. We had good luck a couple years ago too. Everyone claims theres too many members of the Fun house so it isn't fair. I tell them they need to have more kids.

Dreams........bizarre dreams.

So last night a had a dream about another blogger. Carmen is her name. I read her blog daily. I enjoy it because she has six kids and if she can do six. I can do four. Though i recently found out that she is much more organized than I am. I need to work on that,still.
So back to the dream. She, her hubby and six kids came to visit me, my hubby and 5 kids.(yikes, i had five kids in my dream) They arrived and we quickly decided that we were going to go through the drive-thru and get lunch to eat at the park. The kids could run wild and we could chat. Our hubbys were no longer in the dream. Sure they were off having a beer watching some sporting event.
This is where the dream gets weird. We ended up in another country lost on a windy road filled with lobsters. The older kids were annoyed that we were lost and the younger kids were whiney and bored.
We finally came across this hotel and decided that we should get a room and feed the kids. The next thing I remember is the hubbys were with us again and we were on the beach drinking margaritas.
So what does that dream mean? And why did i dream about a blogger i've never met, chatted with or emailed. I don't even think she reads my blog. So why oh why? Maybe she should be scared,lol. I woke up and had to make sure I only had four kids, the dream was so real and vivid.

Who does that?

I grew up LDS. My highschool year I attended seminary and went to church. So when my best friend(who is LDS) had missionaries call me, I kept an open mind. They called but we weren't home. They stopped by once and I explained that right now isn't a good time and I wrote their number down.Told them I would be in touch when things calmed down. I hadn't said anything to Mr. Fun about this either because he has been so busy. When we do have time to talk without four other voices interrupting every thirty seconds other things were talked about.
So fast foward to yesterday. I had just gotten T down for a nap. I was sitting on the couch watching cartoons with Wy eating my lunch. I see the missionaries through the cracks of the blinds in the playroom. I have them so you can see out but they can't see in. So I explained to Wy that there was going to be a knock on the door but we weren't going to answer it. I didn't feel like talking and explaining again that Mr. Fun wasn't home, the baby is finally asleep, I am eating lunch and blah blah blah.So much easier to let them think we aren't home.
They rang the doorbell as I hoped it wouldn't wake T. They knock very hard and loud on the door. Then 30 seconds later, are you ready for this? ...................................
They OPENED my front door. Yes, they did. I sat there with my mouth hanging open in shock. The first(yes, the first meaning they did it more than once) time they only opened it a smidge. They then pulled it closed and opened it far enough that our alarmed chimed, they then pulled it closed very quickly.
That leaves me wondering what they would have done if our alarm wasn't set to chime every time a door opens. What if I really wasn't home and the alarm was set? It would of went off, blaring loud enough for the nieghbors to hear.
I was very put off by this. Who opens a door to a house that you know nothing about?
I was telling Mr. Fun about this last night and he said they are lucky he wasn't home for they would of had a gun in their face.
He was quite worked up about it. I don't blame him but I explained that I wasn't scared because I knew who it was, thankfully.
But still, who does that?

Thirteen Things about Mrs. Fun 1~I wasn't going to do this anymore but I couldn't resist. 2~I am exhausted from trying to night wean T. Hes still screaming a few hours a night. I really didn't think it would be this hard. 3~Today I feel fat and ugly. You can call me fugly. 4~Yesterday was the first day in over a year that I didn't have to wear nursng pads. it felt so weird. 5~My nieghbor thinks her husband is having an affair, I am so sad for her. 6~T won't let me put him down, screams and follows me around while I do what needs to be done. No wonder i'm insane. 7~I'm trying to drink more water I just forget. 8~Thats it, i'm going to the gym tonight after dinner and dinner will be something healthy. 9~Mr. fun installed our new garage door a couple nights ago and I am still giddy everytime I pull up,push the button and pull in the garage without having to get out. Our last garage door was a piece of crap. never buy a wayne dalton, they suck. 10~I suppose I have to give up the day nursing sessions to wean T from waking at night. I thought I could hold on to those for a short while longer. 11~i need to hury this up, JJ gets her certificates for Principles list today and perfect attenndance. I am s proud of her straight A's. 12~I have laundry in the washer that has been washed twice already. It will be three if i don't get it in the dryer today. 13~Some think this is an unlucky number, not me.
